I love programming.

I made the decision a number of years ago that I wanted a purely technical career. I'm not interested in managing people - I tried project management for 9 months and hated it. I want to spend the rest of my working life at a keyboard, writing code.

I have spent a large portion of my career programming in Java. I also have a few years experience working in DevOps roles, working on 'infrastructure as code' projects, utilizing Terraform and Ansible to provision infrastructure in AWS. I have also done a bit of architecture work.

But programming is my first love.
